| | This summer is just flying by cant believe its almost Aug.! We have been so busy doing all sorts of summer things like camping and swimming. Of course there is always mowing and weed pulling between all the fun too. The kids are loving this warm weather. Playing out side. I got 2 little kitties for them at the beginning of the summer. THey have been the best babysitters ever. My kids spend hours a day chasing them and feeding them.
Monday mornings at our place.
Payton is already 31/2 months old. She is so alert and loves to be where the others are. She is a good baby for the most part.
Caleb after a hard morning of playing. He is by far my sleeper of the three kids. He often lays downon his own and naps.
I had to add this picture. Here is Caleb with my oldest brother Andre. My kids are so blessed to have three awesome uncles who spend lots of time with them. They have been helping Caleb with his basketball skills. He can almost dribble behind his back now!!!
Since the beginning of the summer I've been working on a few projects around the house. We have been living here for 5 yrs now and its time to change some thing around here. I didnt want to spend alot of money so I've just been using stuff I had and repainting it or buying things at a thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets. I thought I'd share a few of my little redos with you.
 
I needed a new stand for the baby room, and I got this out of moms garage and repainted it with paint I had around here. So this project was free!
I also cut these little animals out with my cricut and framed them for the babyroom.
My friend Jenny had a giveaway on her blog "Bailey and Me" for a Red Letter sign. Of course I didnt win so I thought I'd try to make one like it. So this is my take on one of there signs. I used my stamps from my scrappbooking stuff.
I recovered a few more pills to add a little color and character to my living room.
Here are a few chairs and a picture I found to redo.
I redid the "beautiful" picture and made it into a cork board. Now you can see the front of my fridge again!
Took the picture off of my living room wall and put up this collage. Would love some ideas on what to add for some color.
I repainted the little chairs and added them to the others. I thought it would be fun to do all different colors. Plus I love to use them when I take pictures.
I dont know about you but I have tons of these little panties around that come with little girl dresses and I never use them. A friend of mine gaveme this idea. (Thanks Brenda!) I cut them into cirlcles and glued them together to make little hair pieces.
Some I glued on rubberbaids and some on clips.
I still have a few more Ideas I'd like to try out, I'll let you know how they turn out. I hope you all are enjoying this hot weather as much as we are here.
