At the Park

Took the kids to the park on Sunday afternoon.

They loved the tire swing.

I would like to say that I do comb my daughters hair.  The minute we walk in the door she tears the rubber band out.  its very frustrating.

On Monday I took the kids to the local trail with there bikes to meet some friends.  We all got a little sun! Yea!  This weather makes for wore out kids and early bed times.  This mother loves that.

April

 we had so much going on in April, Easter and a Birthday among everything. 

My kids were so excited for Easter this year. It was so much fun coloring eggs and hiding them.  I think I hid them a 100 times.  I usually ending up helping to find them too.  Lucky we found them all every time.  Can only imagine the smell we would have had. 

Payton of course didnt understand any of it but she now knows she loves chocolate.

Sophies turned 6 on the 27th.  She was so excited cause I let her invite 2 of her friends over after school for a few hrs.

Munchkin Turns 1

It's been a year and I can hardly believe it!

Uncle Matt thought she needs some on the face.

We had a big party with a bunch of our friends and a smaller one with my family.

Life as we know it

Yea! its the middle of March.  This means this long winter is about over.  I'm dreaming of picnics, camping and long days at the pool.  Can't wait to wear flip flops on my kids.  Looking forward to planting flowers and sitting around a campfire evenings.  Ok ok I'll stop dreaming.  We have been keeping busy lately. 

I've been spring cleaning and I'm almost done.  I have my bedroom to go yet.  I'd really like to paint it and I'm waiting on permission from "the man" to do that.:)  Anyway gotta have my Droid (for the music) and a diet Pepsi close by to make the cleaning bearable.

In 2 weeks my little squirt will be 1!!! Where has the time gone?

Caleb is by far my "sleeper" Love to sleep late just like me. He cant go without a nap, and often goes and tucks himself in and falls asleep.  One night after supper I looked over and here he had crawled under the table and feel asleep.  ( yes that is garlic bread in his hand)

He gets really bored the days Sophie goes to school.  He likes to help me out.  He's also really good at entertaining Payton.

The kids are also big fans of my Droid.  Its quite annoying at times.

Last Friday Steve was at home and decided to use some of the stuff hes been collecting at job sites.  He had enough to build a doghouse for our nonexistent dog!  Now the kids are just sure we will get one soon. 

The kids thought it was the greatest, they loved to be in on the action.  Caleb couldn't handle the noise of the saw though.  He was sure Payton couldn't either.

Of course there is always time for a project or two.

Love all the cute owl stuff you can get these days.  Made a little pillow for the kids, A mama owl with a baby in the pocket.(sorry bout the sideways pic)

I've also really wanted a chalk board for my kitchen.  I finally found one I liked.  It was a "beautiful" gold frame. 

Hopefully this beautiful weather will keep up and spring will truely come on Sunday! 

Just add snow

 My kids have been begging to go sledding.  Now that they are all feeling good, yest. was the day.

They def. did not get there love of snow from their mother.
